Returning Users - Starting a New School Year
If your district used Acadience Data Management in a previous year, or has imported historical Acadience or DIBELS data, a district-level administrative user can complete the following steps to prepare the account for a new school year:
Step 1
Go to the Administrative menu and select the Add option in the Testing Schedules section. The system will walk you through setting your school calendar, selecting the assessment package (e.g., Acadience Reading), and setting up your testing windows. Testing schedules will need to be set up for each assessment that your school or district has purchased student licenses for.
Step 2
If any teachers have changed grades or schools, or if you have any new teachers, set up new classes for them. You can do this with the Add option in the Classes section of the Administrative menu, or with Import Classes on the Import Data menu.
Step 3
To roster your students for the new year, we recommend using the Import Students option found in the Import Data menu, which will add new incoming students and update returning students to their new locations. If you have a small school and prefer rostering your students manually, you can use the Re-Enroll Returning Students option found in the Administrative menu to update your returning students, and the Add option in the Students section of the Administrative menu to add your new incoming students (e.g., kindergarten students) to the system.
